This boy. He has my heart. He came into my office last night at 11pm to ask me some silly question but he was wearing this and I couldn’t even be mad he was out of bed. This morning he put it back on to do his jobs. Tinfoil hat and all.
Going through boxes of my mom’s and found this that my husband made and gifted to her (she LOVED Tigger things). If I remember correctly we made these for an FHE our first year of marriage over 12 years ago. Also I remember it took a lot longer than I thought it would to blow out the egg.
Mission accomplished. He’s been begging for a surprise party for several months & today he got one! This was by far one of my favorite parties to plan. Happy 7th bday (on Friday) little dude.
Cousin cooking school. Filmed for future generations to enjoy.
I was in and out watching other kids & came in as they were putting the first batch on the tray. I suggested adding more flour and they looked at me with huge eyes and admitted they hadn’t added any at all. :-) 3 cups later I dare say they make delicious monster cookies.
Our favorite Independence Day tradition: Parachutes. (This is after chasing and catching a few boxes worth.)
This was our grand finale of our Mentos /soda experiment.
Premiers today! (Though I don’t have TV and won’t be able to catch it for a while yet I’m still celebrating!) #GirlMeetsWorld
How we’ve been doing summer jobs. I bought each kid their own color notes and each night after bed I assign jobs and leave them out in the kitchen.
A few times the kids even ask or sneak a peak to get a head start the night before (works for me!). We have few ‘ask mom’, ‘freebie’ or ‘you pick’ ones thrown in.
